Some new important features onboard

With the current financial downturn menacing most airline companies and other important organizations, it is extremely important that these companies add some new features to their services so that they can attract an increasing number of clients. Below is another msnbc.com article telling you how it all works:

"

United Airlines said Wednesday it will start accepting credit and debit cards for onboard purchases beginning March 23.

United said it will stop accepting cash for purchases on flights within the U.S. and on flights to and from Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean after the spring break season. No firm date has been set for the changeover.

United said it would take both cash and credit on flights around the rest of the world. The airline will continue to be cash-only on its United Express regional flights.

United, a unit of UAL Corp., said it got a positive reaction from passengers when it tested credit and debit card purchases over the past year.

Earlier this month American Airlines said it will shift to cashless cabins for U.S. flights beginning this summer.
