The sold-out Amsterdam concert of Scottish singer/songwriter Amy Macdonald, tonight (Monday March 3rd), will be webcasted live in audio and video on Fabchannel.com.

Amy Macdonald (1987) debuted in 2007 with 'This Is The Life’, a mature sounding pop album with folky influences. Due to the success of 'This Is The Life’ Amy Macdonald became the highest selling female to debut in 2007. In early 2008, the album eventually topped the official UK album charts. Amy tends to blame Pete Doherty and Fran Healy (of Travis) for inspiring her to pick up the guitar at the age of 12, to teach herself to play and to write her first songs.

Kylie Minogue and Natalie Imbruglia have gone on a girls-only luxury holiday.

The pop pair - who both starred in Australian TV show 'Neighbours' together - have flown to Mauritius for a relaxing five-night break at the five-star Shanti Ananda resort to escape their troubled love lives.

A source said: "Natalie is heartbroken after splitting from husband Daniel Johns and Kylie thought a sunshine break would cheer her up.

They are both trying to put their relationship troubles behind them and think this holiday will do the job."

The exclusive Shanti Ananda resort in the Indian Ocean offers yoga lessons, meditation and a four-handed massage from two therapists. Guests splash out £2,480-a-night to stay at a villa that boasts its own private butler, landscaped garden and swimming pool.

Kylie, 39, has been single since parting ways with actor Olivier Martinez last year following a four-year relationship. It was reported they had reunited last month after enjoying a two-day break in Paris together.

Natalie, 33, ended her marriage with Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns in January. The 'Torn' singer revealed the pair decided to walk away from their four-year union after "growing apart" due to work pressures. It was recently reported Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell is trying to woo Natalie after meeting her at a party last month.

Simon Cowell turned down a £1 million offer to be the face of Viagra.

The music mogul, 48, said he was "insulted" when he was asked to advertise the drug, which helps impotent men have a fulfilling sex life.

He said: "Last year, my agent rang me and said, 'You've been offered an incredibly big deal. It's to be the face of Viagra.' "And I just said, 'Sorry, but that has to be a f***ing insult.'"

Although Simon doesn't need any help in the bedroom, he has admitted to seeking help to stay looking young. The 'X Factor' judge has confessed he has regular Botox injections to smooth out any wrinkles.

He said: "To me, Botox is no more unusual than toothpaste. It works, you do it once a year - who cares. "But I'd never dye my hair, although I know everyone thinks I do!"

Cowell also took a swipe at the current crop of Hollywood stars, saying the actresses are no longer sexy. He added to Britain's Glamour magazine: "Nicole Kidman and Kate Bosworth - they're just nothing. There's nothing to fancy or fantasise about there.

"I like old school glamour, Raquel Welch and Brigitte Bardot, voluptuous and naughty. Mistresses! "But I do like the girl, Carla Bruni, who's just got married to the French President. That girl has got a very, very sexy face - it's naughty."

Lily Allen has vowed to turn her back on her wild ways following her miscarriage.

The 22-year-old singer - who tragically lost her baby in January and split from the father, Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons, shortly after - revealed her recent heartache has changed her opinion on partying.

She said: "When I was pregnant I stopped drinking and I didn't start again. Then when the baby was gone, I thought, 'That doesn't mean I'm going to go back to how I was.' "

The 'Smile' star - who admitted to taking ecstasy when she was just 14-years-old - has decided the best way to avoid temptation is to spend her evenings at home.

She added to Britain’s Glamour magazine: "I've been sad and quite lonely recently because if you're young, living in London and working in this industry, unless you drink and take a lot of drugs, there's not much to do.

"I've been sitting on my own watching TV. It's boring to go out if everyone else if taking cocaine and shouting at me."

Lily and Ed - who started dating last September - revealed they were expecting their first child together last December, but the relationship unfortunately fell apart under the pressure of their loss.

Van Halen has bad news for their fans...

Van Halen cancelled their entire tour! What a shame for the fans! :O


According to reports US rockers Van Halen have pulled their comeback tour.

The band, who had been touring the US with original lead singer David Lee Roth, have allegedly cancelled the entire tour due to ongoing "issues" with guitarist Eddie Van Halen.

Eddie struggled to play at recent shows after allegedly turning up to the gigs the worse for drink.

Recent concerts in Virginia and Georgia had to be rescheduled for mid-March with no reason given for the postponements.

All hotel reservations for the tour, which was due to run until April 19, have been cancelled.

Van Halen formed in 1972 and have sold over 56 million albums in the US alone.
