Well, I am sure that when you go to a very poor country and end up facing some locals who know that you are carrying a lot of money, the situation can get really difficult… In fact, I have faced some related problems in the past and if I knew how to defend myself, then I could have simply run with my possessions.

Personally, I think that it’s extremely important that we know how to defend ourselves and that’s exactly where muay thai comes to the scene as one of the best ways of defending yourself! In fact, if you would like to see with your own eyes the biggest persons in muay thai, then you definitely need to go to Thailand and witness the power of muay thai in thailand, which I am sure that will definitely cause a good impression on you! Furthermore, it won’t simply be something that you will love to do but also something that can also be relaxing and a good way of knowing how to focus all our forces, giving us the opportunity to use that mental strength in our daily life.

So, why don’t you consider some muay thai training in order to be able to defend yourself next time you end up facing a difficult situation? Well, I am sure that those trainings will definitely come in handy sometime in our lives and I really wished that I had some more free time, which would allow me to try it by myself and become a master! Moreover, on the website above, you can expect to find all the useful information about muay thai and where you can try it for yourself whenever you decide to pick Thailand as your destination…

Some updates about touring europe...

Do you love touring Europe? well, everyone loves it! It seems...

Bob muscled the lever. The seat flew back, and I sank into its depths, comfortable for the first time in four hours.

What had I been thinking—persuading Bob to buy a Euro bus pass that put us on the road for two nights? I wasn't a young '70s hippie anymore; far from it. It had been 34 years since I'd developed a preference for bus travel, over rental cars, over high-speed trains. Back then, we were on our honeymoon in Ireland, and Bob had assumed we'd rent a car. "If we're squeezed into an isolated little box," I argued to my new husband, "we won't get to talk to the Irish."

Why don't you also share your stories?

Halloween is here!

Do you have any scary stories from those times when you used to travel abroad?

To start things off on a light note, Kevin-665253 shared this “not creepy, but certainly crazy, and very funny” story about a classic and very Halloween-worthy trick he watched a group of college kids play on other travelers while waiting out a long flight delay at Chicago’s O'Hare International Airport:

“They tied some fishing line to a $10 bill and tossed it out in the middle of the concourse. Of course, numerous passers-by attempted to retrieve it and chased it all over the concourse as it got tugged away by the invisible string: business men in suits, women in dresses, kids, older folks; the lot of them. Certainly not the most original joke in the world, but it kept the entire gate howling for hours. It even got so everyone in the gate area would get really quiet until the next victim came along, at which time the fun would begin anew.”

Do you really love Halloween?

Where are the most amazing hotels?

As any other traveler, the truth is that I am really concerned about the best hotels that I can choose when I travel, but where are the best ones in the world?

Sustained economic growth has its cultural benefits—among them a high volume of international travelers and, consequently, a large number of world-class hotels. At least that's one way to look at this year's list of the world's 10 top hotel cities, as determined by the Forbes Traveler 400 board of experts, who rated nearly 800 of the world's finest hotels on the basis of their rooms, service, decor, cuisine, public areas, recreational options and, of course, location.

All 10 entries on this year's list have ranked among their region's most powerful cities at some point in their history. Not surprisingly, all ten also developed sophisticated, increasingly globalized cultures—and world-class accommodations.

At the apex, we find London, with no fewer than 14 separate entries on the Forbes Traveler 400 list. Not surprisingly, the majority of the British capital's finest hotels are within a 30-minute stroll of Buckingham Palace, and walking distance from many of the cultural and historic highlights of the city. Many were founded while the British Empire was at its peak, so the sense of royal legacy lives on in each one.

Doesn't it make us think twice?
