A British customs official says 15 crew members of a South African Airways flight that landed in London have been arrested after a large shipment of cannabis was found in their luggage.
Bob Gaiger of HM Revenue and Customs says the flight attendants and pilots on the flight from Johannesburg were taken into custody at Heathrow Airport as they passed through customs on Monday. He said Tuesday that customs officials found a total of 110 pounds (50 kilograms) of cannabis in three of their bags.
South African Airways was not immediately available to comment about the arrests.
