Sex pistols are not dead yet!

This is their latest official news

The lives and careers of the Sex Pistols look set to be turned into a pantomime, according to reports.

Julien Temple, who put together the infamous "The Great Rock & Roll Swindle" film about the punk legends, is now considering a new project.

The acclaimed director says he hopes John Lydon will appear in the production, which would be an adaptation of "Dick Whittington".

Temple says the idea of a stage version of The Pistols was cemented in his mind after their recent reunion gigs in London and LA.

He explained: "I don't know whether we'd get (former Sex Pistols manager) Malcolm (McClaren) to play 'The Big Bad Witch' or whatever, but it's a funny idea anyway."

Speaking about last year's comeback shows, Temple told the BBC: "They make a pantomime - a psycho-panto - out of the event".

Production on a DVD documentary about The Pistols's five-night residency at the Brixton Academy in London is now also said to be complete.
