Finding some new friends

While traveling around the world, I realized that it is extremely important that we always take some friends or family with us so that we can share the memories in a later moment! As a matter of fact, last time I went to Africa with my old friend James, was probably one of the best trips ever simply because I took a good friend with me.

Are you traveling to Europe?

Keeping in mind that many American individuals tend to travel to Europe every year, I would like to share a very interesting article that I found on the web and which you can read just below:

Every year when I update my guidebook series, I find out what's new in Europe. Here's a review of what Americans can expect the next time they cross the Atlantic. Note that this is a continent-wide look at the latest in Europe. In upcoming columns, I'll cover what's new per major country.

In 2009, it's not the “old Europe” anymore as countries continue to open up their borders. Several Eastern European countries, including Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and the Baltic States, have recently done away with border controls for travel within Europe. This means you can now go from country to country without stopping to show your passport. Switzerland plans to join in as early as March.

Clean air has come to once-smoky Europe. Trains used to have both smoking and nonsmoking compartments, but now entirely smoke-free cars are standard in much of Europe. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on trains in Great Britain, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Norway, Sweden or Poland. Smoking areas (clearly marked) are still offered on some trains in Spain, Denmark, Finland and most of Eastern Europe."

Custom embroidery may play an important role

Even though we may think that it is very important that we get some designer clothes to wear on our daily life, the truth is that the clothes that really stand out from the crowd are those which are full customized by you!

Keeping this in mind, if you are a fan of custom embroidery clothes or if you run a small business or company and want to spread the word about it, then you definitely need to have a look at Threadsmith.com which is a website where users are given the chance to easily upload logos or any designs that you which to be printed on the clothes with on-demand digitization techniques. Moreover, every order is assured fast delivery and there are no set up fees or any other minimum quantities! What else could we ask for?

Ice cruises

Have you ever thought about the idea of taking part in a cruise that goes around some of the coldest places in the world?

A cruise ship carrying nearly 400 people has been stuck in thick ice in the St. Lawrence River in Eastern Canada for over a day, but passengers are nonetheless having a “festive” time, the company that owns the vessel said Tuesday.

The ship, CTMA-Vacancier, chartered by a group traveling from Montreal to the Gaspe Peninsula for a cross-country skiing trip to celebrate the 475th anniversary of the region's settlement, is now inching through the heavy ice, said Leonard Arsenault, a spokesman for MTMA Group.

A Canadian Coast Guard icebreaker that was already in the area tried to assist the ship, but was also having difficulty getting through the thick ice, Arsenault said.

A new concept of travel

I recently found this amazing new on MSN.com and I am going to share it with you so that anyone can comment it while also thinking twice about the idea of traveling around the world...
" A London couple visiting the Big Apple have settled into their hotel room — under the eyes of thousands of pedestrians and motorists. Duncan Malcolm and Katherine Lewis are receiving a complimentary five-day stay at Manhattan's Roger Smith Hotel in exchange for staying in a replica of one of the hotel's rooms on the ground floor of a nearby building. As part of the agreement, the couple must keep the curtains on the room's large glass windows open between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. until Friday, allowing passers-by to watch them. The hotel partnered with the Real Live Billboards company, which stages live events for advertising and promotional purposes.

In December, heavyweight boxer Tor Hamer was featured in the hotel's storefront window exchanging punches with his trainer. "

Why not a romantic getaway?

When thinking about what life is all about, do you honestly believe that there is anything more important than love?

If love is a many-splendored thing — a multifaceted, kaleidoscopic experience that’s different for every couple — then so is the romantic vacation. There are almost as many definitions for a “great couples’ getaway” as there are destinations to travel to.

Still, certain trips are almost guaranteed to conjure ideas of togetherness. We’ve seen the images countless times — of pairs strolling together along empty, sugary beaches; snuggling in front of fireplaces at mountaintop chalets; wandering hand-in-hand through foreign, cobblestoned streets — yet they manage to retain their magic.

There are simply some places, some kinds of adventures, that make us want to fall in love.

Buying a new poker table

While most people tend to save all their money and don’t enjoy their own lives, I am one of those persons who spend everything that comes to my hands and so I tend to travel all around the world as much as I can but I also spend some money with games and betting…

Still, finding a suitable poker table that looks both classic and functional was a very difficult task for me. Fortunately, I ended up finding this Poker Table which you can see below:

American airlines are in need of support

With the current financial crisis, it would be normal that we could expect airlines to face some quite difficult days while the economy doesn't recover... Keeping this in mind, I recently saw the new which I am putting below on MSN.com and I am sure that you will be amazed by it:

"
American Airlines is limiting the number of passengers on some planes while it orders additional life rafts needed in case of a water landing like the one made this month on the Hudson River by a US Airways jet.

American will allow no more than 228 people including passengers and crew on its Boeing 767-300 aircraft, which normally holds 236 people including a crew of 11, spokesman Tim Wagner said Wednesday.

The planes are mostly used on flights over the Atlantic to Europe, and to Latin America."
