A Delta baggage worker got a bit of a fright when she opened a jetliner's cargo door and found a cheetah running loose amid the luggage.

Doherty was driving down Route 1 from San Jose to Los Angeles back in May. He heard about Pfeiffer Beach and decided to check it out. He drove down a “dirt road in the middle of nowhere“ before arriving at the amazing beach. “Pretty much everywhere is a photograph,” he said.

Doherty said he took the image on a 30-second exposure at about 4:30 in the morning. Two waves rolled in during the process, which gave the photo its misty effect.
