Radiohead rule out many shows this year...

Radiohead rule the world of music, can't you see it? =D

While Radiohead fans eagerly waited to see if their beloved saviours of beep-rock were going to have the headline spot at Glastonbury, only to be disappointed, Thom Yorke and co were busy shaking their heads at the world-polluting festival.

Speaking to The Sun, Yorke said, "What we're trying to do is only play in areas that have a public transport infrastructure in place, so that rules out Glastonbury for this year."

It probably rules out a number of American shows this year too.

A large part of a concert's pollution comes from the fact that people drive to concerts in cars, either alone or in pairs, rather than on public transport.

So if you're going to see Radiohead, catch the train, bus, tram, boat, or anything else you can think of that is public (except a taxi...). Or don't and say you did.

John Lennon will be the inspiration for an ice-cream!

John is going to be the man who inspired a new ice-cream! =D How world is absolutely crazy...

John Lennon has inspired a new ice-cream flavour at Ben & Jerry's.

'Imagine Whirled Peace is a toffee, cookies and fudge flavour and has peace signs whirled through it.

At the Ben & Jerry's site, they say "When Ben & Jerry's wanted to talk about peace, we couldn't think of a better person to exemplify the message than John Lennon. Through his art and lyrics he imagined a world without war and asked us all to 'Give Peace a Chance'. We hope this whirly mixture of toffee cookies and fudge peace signs enlightens your bellies and souls and makes you ask what you can do to promote peace in your lives".

But beware. That peace fudge might create war with your stomach. The ice-cream comes with the warning "The Fudge Peace Sign Pieces Are Manufactured On Equipment That Also Processes Peanuts And Tree Nuts".

Guitarist and bandleader Jeff Healey dies in Toronto hospital.

Following a lengthy struggle with cancer, Healey passes away on the eve of the release of a new blues rock album.

He was 41, and leaves his wife, Cristie, daughter Rachel (13) and son Derek (three), as well as his father and step-mother, Bud and Rose Healey, and sisters Laura and Linda.

Funeral and memorial arrangements are pending.

Robbed of his sight as a baby due to a rare form of cancer, retino blastoma, and he started to play guitar when he was three, holding the instrument unconventionally across his lap. He formed his first band at 17, but soon formed a trio which was named the Jeff Healey Band.

After his appearance in the movie Road House, he was signed to Arista records, and in 1988 released the Grammy-nominated album See the Light, which included a major hit single, Angel Eyes. He earned a Juno Award in 1990 as Entertainer of the Year.

Nadine is dating Josh Hartnett, it seems...

Nadine is dating the famous actor Josh Hartnett and I wished she would date me instead! But who doesn't love the girl? =D

Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle is reportedly dating actor Josh Hartnett.

The pair have sparked romance rumours after being seen together on a number occasions in Los Angeles last week, including drinks at temporary Oscar venue Blanco 101.

A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "The whole of Hollywood was talking about Josh and this pretty Irish girl. "Not everyone knows Girls Aloud here so people were trying to work out who this stunning girl was.

"They were spotted at Blanco 101 looking very much like a couple and chatting over drinks until the early hours." Nadine - whose on/off relationship with 'Desperate Housewives' hunk Jesse Metcalfe' ended in January - was supposed to be flying back to the UK for the BRIT Awards earlier this month, but was forced to remain in the US when she lost her passport.

Sources say the 22-year-old singer quickly got over her disappointment thanks to her new friend Josh. Meanwhile, the 29-year-old actor - who previously dated Scarlett Johansson and has been romantically linked to Rihanna, Kirsten Dunst and Rumer Willis
- was left red-faced when he was forced to fly in economy class back to New York following the Oscars.

A source said: "The flight was so overbooked there was no way he was going to get upgraded, but that didn't stop him trying. There were so many stars on the flight, when he went up to the counter to ask about a waiting list they told him, 'You're number 55.' "

Mick Hucknall is going to tour again!

It looks like Mick is going to travel the world again! These are incredible news for the fans! =D

For the very first time Mick Hucknall is stepping out from Simply Red, and has announced a new European Summer tour to support his eagerly anticipated debut solo studio LP 'Tribute To Bobby’, released May 19th.

The Bobby in question is the enormously influential African- American singer Bobby 'Blue’ Bland, sometimes referred to as the 'Lion of the Blues’.

'Tribute to Bobby’ is a twelve track master class in soul, blues and R&B and a tribute to one of Hucknall’s most important inspirations and musical idols. Along with such artists as Sam Cooke, Ray Charles and Junior Parker, Bland developed a sound that mixed gospel with blues and R&B.

He sang classics such as big-band blues number 'Farther Up The Road’ (US R&B top 10 hit in 1957) and perfected his craft in the 1960’s with a series of releases including 'Cry Cry Cry’ and 'I Pity The Fool’.

Bobby 'Blue’ Bland perhaps achieved his greatest recognition much later in his career; in 1992 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and in 1997 he received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Mick Hucknall’s passion and respect for Bobby Bland is unquestioned
'I’d been listening to Bobby’s songs for so long that is was almost second nature to try and do these tunes', he says.

The 'Umbrella' singer and the R'n'B star have been enjoying a romantic holiday in Jamaica and couldn't keep their hands off each other during a dip in the Hilton Kingston Hotel pool.

A source told gossip website pagesix.com: "They were smooching in the pool and were really lovely dovey. They were playfully making out and he was kissing her on the neck.

"They were floating together with him carrying her and she kept saying, 'Don't get my hair wet!' She was very soft and feminine but he was like a big kid splashing all around."

The couple also got matching star tattoos on their necks during their break. Rihanna was first linked to Chris earlier this month after he helped her celebrate her 20th birthday. During the bash, Chris was given a standing ovation after he sang 'Happy Birthday' to beautiful Barbadian singer.
